Who is Spartoo?
Spartoo is the story of three friends who love shoes and the Internet. Boris, Paul and Jérémie, together not yet 75 years old and recently graduated, dream of starting their own business, a business that suits them. After careful consideration, they decide to open their own online shoe-selling site.

In 2006, they plunged into the adventure and founded Spartoo.nl, in reference to primitive, leather Greek sandals and to the city of Sparta, one of the most powerful cities of ancient Greece. Just for fun, they add the two "O's," which stand for the Internet's greatest successes: gOOgle, yahOO, kelkOO, wanadOO.... And so Spartoo was founded on August 16, 2006. The enthusiasm and unique project please both the super-motivated teams, the investors, the brands and the partners, who are all sucked into this great adventure.
