Daisycon Magento-2 extension
More than one-third of advertisers in the retail segment (e-commerce/webshops) use Magento. Magento is an open-source e-commerce platform and one of the most powerful e-commerce systems in the market.
Magento extensions enable you to implement additional functionality in your e-commerce website and thus provide a solution for almost every conceivable need. Daisycon offers an extension to implement the conversion pixel especially for advertisers who use Magento-2.
This extension adds the latest Daisycon (partial transaction) conversion pixel to the thank you page of your shop without modifying the templates. The new extension also offers advantages for advertisers who already have a working conversion pixel. I will further elaborate on the advantages below.
What makes Daisycon’s Magento-2 extension unique?
The extension ensures that the Daisycon conversion pixel is loaded at the right time in the event of a successful transaction. Where a normal conversion pixel only measures the total amount of a transaction, the conversion pixel in the Magento-2 extension sends data for each individual product in a transaction. This expanded conversion pixel provides additional functionality, including the possibility to set a variable compensation at the product level.
The benefits of this extension
Because the conversion pixel measures each individual product within a transaction, it is possible to set a variable fee based on, for example, the product category or available product attributes. This way, you can offer publishers a higher fee for products where the margin is higher and of course adjust the fee downwards for products where the margin is lower.
Check transactions of returns
De deel-transacties maakt het keuren van transacties waarbij retouren hebben plaatsgevonden een stuk eenvoudiger. Waar je voorheen, bij transacties waar een deel van de bestelde producten retour verzonden is, de commissie voor de publisher opnieuw zou moeten berekenen, kan je bij de vernieuwde implementatie de individuele producten nu afzonderlijk keuren.
Just like the standard conversion pixel, it is also possible to add extra data, such as product properties, to the transaction in 5 extra fields in the partial transaction pixel. The difference with the normal conversion pixel is that you can pass on the extra data for each individual product within a transaction. Thanks to the enriched statistics, you are usually even able to further optimize the campaign in a better way.
When a promotional code has been used with an order, the code used will be registered in the transaction. Measuring the promotion codes offers the possibility to use so-called dedicated promotion codes.
How do you install the Daisycon Magento-2 extension?
The Daisycon Magento-2 extension can be downloaded from the Magento Marketplace. There are several ways to install Magento extensions. This depends on your Magento-2 setup and we recommend calling in your developer for this.
